Marah Al-Hermzy, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Marah Al- hermzy received her Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine & surgery from University of Mosul / College of veterinary Medicine in 1998, and a Master’s degree in human physiology form University of Tikrit/ College of Medicine in 2003 in Iraq. She worked as a veterinary doctor and as a college instructor in her city, Kirkuk. After moving to Canada, she got her Ontario license of Veterinarian in 2019 and worked as a full-time, and part time veterinarian at various hospitals in Ontario. She proudly worked at East village animal hospital (Humane Alliance- partnered) which offers low-cost high-quality care to communities in need. She holds special interests in internal medicine, pathology, and surgery. She is enthusiastic to learn new things in veterinary medicine. She is passionate about honest conversations with clients and so compassionate to her patients. When not at work, Dr. Marah enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys traveling and hiking and baking.
